About Dino & The Grinders
Multi-talented musician Dean Honeycutt first formed his band Dino & The Grinders for his sister’s wedding in 1994. Honeycutt’s passion for creating music artistry and inspiring audiences led to several spectacular collaborations, including Daryl Davis, leader of the Daryl Davis Band and former keyboardist for Chuck Berry; Mark Wenner (founder) and Mark Stutso of the Legendary Nighthawks and famed Washington D.C. bluesman Linwood Taylor (Joe Lewis Walker), to name a few. Honeycutt is completely captivating, charismatic, and dynamic on stage to the utmost and fullest extent. He brings heart, soul, and gravitas to each and every one of his music performances. When asked what he loves most about being a musician, Honeycutt said “Everything; it’s why I breathe.” That level of energy and excitement is what makes Honeycutt truly a cut above the rest. Teaming up with Washington D.C. area drummer Neal “Bam” Feldman, who studied with the famed Eugene “Babe” Fabrizi, Roger Humphries (Horace Silver) and later with Pittsburgh Symphony percussionist Gerald Unger and Mike Wilbur, multi-instrumentalist and leader of the Ginger Funk Allstars band. Honeycutt brings Dino & The Grinders back to the spotlight with his brand of energetic music rooted in the Blues.
