About We are AYA

Unique sisters, blending heavenly harmonies in a project of authentic, soul driven, electro pop.

Hailing from the rolling landscape of Suffolk, ethereal sister duo AYA have been making waves of late. Combining minimal, bass-heavy production and swirling harmonies that drive towards menacing, Earth-shattering crescendos, comparisons to the likes of James Blake and London Grammar are clear and well deserved with what Clash Magazine describes as ‘wholly natural, organic songwriting…’

Since supporting Lamb on their recent UK tour, playing iconic venues such as London’s Shepherds Bush Empire and Manchester Cathedral along the way, the girls have put on a string of intimate gigs in a World War 2 bunker and appeared at various Sofar Sounds venues across London to celebrate and promote the release of their first four singles, released through Denzyl Feigelson's highly regarded distribution platform Platoon. Heartfelt single ‘Heal Me Now’ produced by Andy Barlow (Lamb) was successfully featured on New Music Friday and premiered on Clash Magazine, while their latest single Higher Love was featured on New Music Friday in the US, culminating in a strong fan base starting to grow worldwide adding to over ½ million total streams on Spotify.

Clash also describe the duo as “remarkably fresh-sounding" and that they "have gradually found attention simply through being themselves.” AYA wouldn't have it any other way.
