Fortress (Christian)

Fortress, based out of Nashville Tennessee, began in January 2016 when three vocalists began singing together “just for fun” and it quickly, if not instantly, turned into something anointed and designed by God. Fortress consists of vocalists RJ Henderson (Lead vocals), Christine Smith, (Soprano vocals), and Adam Elrod (Tenor vocals). The group has gone on to record three albums, and has garnered their first Top 40 song in the nation with "Love Changes Everything". The group has since then traveled all across the US, including the Mid and Upper Midwest, Deep South, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and various places all across the Southeastern US and has been honored to perform the National Anthem for various college sporting events! .

Fortress' musicality is wide variety of genres. “We want to be able to reach people of every demographic through various styles. Our sound is more focused on the vocals and intriguing, complex harmonies.” "Love Changes Everything", the first single off their highly anticipated album, "The Outcome", as of January 2019, has become their first TOP 40 song in Christian music, reaching 27 on the National Charts!

It is our belief that Christ was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, buried in a borrowed tomb and rose again on the third day defeating death, hell, and the grave so that You and I could be saved. We never want to take any opportunity for granted to tell every listener how valued they are to Christ.
