The wheels have only started to turn for Northern Americana roots group BLB but the road is wide open for an epic musical journey. Based throughout the Alberta Peace Country they have garnered a loyal following both locally and across Canada.

Drawing inspiration from traditional coastal roots and their Peace Country home BLB brings together a truly genuine country roots sound. Anchored by the skillful rhythm and harmonies of Dano Laflamme (percussion/vocals) and the smokin' bluegrass infused instrumentation of Matt O'Connor (fiddle/banjo/mandolin) and Kyle Doucette (guitar/banjo/mandolin), the strong vocal presence of singer/songwriter Brad Lynch is the added fuel to a soul engulfing fire.

Formed in 2018 by Lynch and O'Connor the group has played extensively across Western Canada sharing stages with the likes of Blue Rodeo, Crash Test Dummies, Dan Davidson, Joey Landreth to name just a few. Working closely with Saskatchewan born Nashville based producer Bob Funk (Patricia Conroy, Duane Steele, Jimmy Rankin, Mark Wills, The RoadHammers, Ozzy Osbourne) the group's sound has evolved into a roots driven Americana/Canadiana sensibility. The result is a vibe of Tom Petty meets New Grass Revival with more than a little Bruce Springsteen in the mix.

A high energy charismatic live show that connects with nearly any audience. Their love for people and empathic affection for the human condition is evident in all that they do. The same deep feeling can be felt in their studio recordings. With new music being churned out through the songwriting efforts of Lynch and the melodic virtuosity of O'Connor, Doucette and Laflamme there is so much yet to come from theBLB.
