Catnyp evolved out of what started as a backyard shed not-for-release 4 track demo type project by former Brand Violet (early 2000s UK surfgoth underground band) bass player Henderson K. Shatner. As the songs morphed and evolved it blossomed into a going concern of deliberately stripped-back songs hearkening back to 1971 and records like "Ziggy Stardust" and "Ram." The album is being mixed and mastered, then getting sequenced. Art is being completed, manufacturing getting done, some promotion kits to be sent out, and an amazing menagerie of merchandise to be imagined ... watch this space.
