Chaibaba demonstrates finely crafted music with "Slow Brewed", their debut album which is filled with solid compositions flowing from one song to another. The Pittsburgh trio formed in the late nineties. Currently they are working on recording their second album. Their songs delve into heavy, funky, ambient, and psychedelic territory. -------------------------------------------------- Dino and Ketan are two drummers who met at University of Pittsburgh, where they played in the Pitt African Drumming Ensemble, at the time led by Dr. Anicet Mundundu. They played in Pittsburgh bands Blindsight and SYT in the late '90s. In early 1999, Vijay, Ketan, and Dino formed CHAIBABA.
