Shackelford Lane

The Shackelford brothers, Will, 24, and Reid, 17, will win you over with their in-your-face throwback country tone.

Their influences stem from country greats like Merle Haggard, Hank Jr., and George Strait. The brothers describe their sound as "...somewhere in the middle of Cody Johnson, Luke Combs, and Jon Pardi." Their debut EP, "Kiss and Tell," is host to not only the title track that could easily fit on a Luke Combs album, but also includes "Leave", a very Travis Tritt-esque tongue-in-cheek break up song, and "Girl From a Love Song", that seems tailor made for driving down a dirt road. Their single "Way Back Home" is a touching nod to the troops that give the ultimate sacrifice and with their sophomore EP already in the works, it is exciting to see what is to come for this Central Alabama duo.
