G.M.I Venus

Thato Teddy Modika (born October 18, 1995), better known by his stage name G.M.I Venus is a South African rapper, singer/songwriter and record producer. G.M.I Venus is a self-taught record producer, writer and sound engineer. He attended W.M. Kgatla Primary School and after went to Modubatse High School. He is currently at the University of Limpopo stufying his BSc Molecular & Life Sciences degree. He started pursuing music and writing songs from age 11 and is well known for trying to incorporate spontaneous mellow lyrics over mainstream instrumentals. In 2017, G.M.I Venus showed up at the recording studio of Alto Max Recordings for a session. His vibrant attitude and vigorous work ethics caught the attention of directors and few months later penned down a recording deal with the label . He is yet to release music under the label. His debut album CRANBERRY, GiN & TREE$: THE TRAP. JAME$ BROWN is expected to drop late 2018, courtesy of the label.
