TuesdayAfteR8

David Pithie, together with Wim and Guido Scheers and some childhood friends started TuesdayAfteR8 in 1991. After some musical adventures, some line-up changes and a break of 11 years to start a family, the guys came back together in 2007. During the break, David had started writing his own songs which are characterized by his own personal style of playing the guitar. Together with Wim, they are the perfect musical tandem to make the arrangements that will determine the new sound of TuesdayAfteR8. The first single, 'Ancient Lullaby' was released in 2010 and became 'vi.be selection of the week' on Belgian national radiostation Radio 1. In France, RTL-radio made the single 'Powerplay'. The band was extended with a stringsection, which brings a unique mix of semi-acoustic pop-rock with folk influences. From time to time you can even hear a link to the Scottish roots of the Pithie family. Besides the pretty solid group sound, the songs also translate well to a naked, acoustic setting in which the voices of David and Wim blend very beautifully together. The songs can be heard in their purest form. It is therefore possible to book TuesdayAfteR8 in a 'modular' way: from pure acoustic duo to acoustic combo with strings to the 'full band'.
