About Kadooh Official

Since setting out on a journey to reconnect with his roots, 604 Records’ Kadooh has continued to carve his own path in Canadian country music — all while staying true to himself along the way.

Now, the two time BCCMA winner is once again ready to kick things into high gear with Rattlesnake Bite, his brand-new single dropping Friday, July 30.
Produced by Jeff Johnson and co-written by award-winning musician and songwriter Chad Kroeger, the track is designed to get fans up and moving.
To put it bluntly, Rattlesnake Bite is an anthem for a damn good time.
“It basically came together as a song that is kind of pumps up the energy and guides people through a dance,” Kadooh explains. “It's fun and it's upbeat, and really, what more could you ask for?”

Known as the guitarist and backing vocalist of JUNO nominated/multi-platinum rock band State of Shock, the musician had always carried with him an appreciation for all genres of music — and the move to country has been a rewarding transition. After over a decade in the music business, Kadooh took his career in a whole new direction just three years ago, stepping into the spotlight for the first time.

Since then, the singer/songwriter released his first three singles as a solo artist, 24 Reasons, Somethin’ To Roll On & Wiser Than Me and won his first BCCMA Award (Ray McAuley Horizon Award), while racking up a slew of nominations, and releasing his debut six-song EP in 2019.
Clearly, the artist hasn’t looked back since.

Kadooh’s sound — one that has found influence in not only the musician’s everyday life, but an engrained love of music as a whole — has continued to grow and evolve, especially when it comes to song writing.
“I try to write about what I’ve experienced — I’ve gone through it all, just like everyone else. It’s always been important to me for people to relate to the music,” he said, adding as a fun, energetic, hold-nothing-back kind of person, his work will always reflect that. “Music should always be fun and that’s very authentic to who I am. I want people to dance and just take it in.”

Rattlesnake Bite is set to be the first in an upcoming string of offerings from Kadooh — culminating in a project over a year in the making.
“We have a ton of songs ready to go, and I'm really excited about it,” he said. “I’ve poured my heart and soul into it all, and I've really developed myself as an artist and a singer. I'm just really, really excited, and I hope everybody really connects with them and enjoys them.”
