About Tracee Perrin
“With the momentum behind her career not waning in the least coming into 2024, I have a good feeling that this is just the start of something very exciting from this highly skilled performer. To me, this will be quite the standard to exceed in the future.” - Indie Pulse Music
Tracee Perrin, a singer-songwriter with a distinctive indie alternative Americana sound, draws inspiration from her mixed-race upbringing in Los Angeles. Since 2007, she's created soulful songs, influenced by her roles as an artist, mother, wife, and businesswoman, reminiscent of artists like Lori McKenna, Joy Oladokun, and Sara Bareilles. After studying at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood and participating in ASCAP's Lester Sill Songwriters Workshop, she moved to New York, where she discovered her passion for songwriting. Returning to L.A., she released her debut EP, "Providence," in 2012, performing at various venues. She later moved to Nashville, enhancing her craft and releasing the emotional single "Losing The War" in 2013, produced by Jordan Richman. In 2024, her second EP, "The Clearing," co-produced by Alex Wong and Cara McCarthy, offers an intimate glimpse into her life and artistic journey.
