Known as P.I.N.K.-Possibilities I Now Know Diamonds empowerment specialist, Pastor Freeman is earning a reputation worldwide as a catalyst for inspiration, empowerment and voice of encouragement to the nations.

Resplendent, Anointed, Inspiring and Beautiful are some of the words often used to describe Reverend Sonja Elise Freeman “Queen Diva”, which means “Wisdom, Beauty, Peace” of Divine Voices World Ministries and whose spiritual covering is under First Step Ministry Church of Christ Disciples of Christ with Dr. Dorothy Lewis, Pastor is celebrating her 10th Anniversary in ministry (2005-2015) who loves to share her gift of music and encouragement to all to be inspired toward accepting Christ into their hearts.

She has been recently crowned 2015 Miss New York Plus America Lifetime and her platform is Mental Health Awareness & Suicide Prevention. Reverend Sonja Elise is driven by her faith in God, love for serving others and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through her smile ministry as a lifetime queen. An ordained Minister, Award-winning Psalmist/Recording Artist, Toastmaster, Plus Model/Beauty Queen and Empowerment Coach with Divine Voices Media, who has empowered everyone from Fashion & Beauty Executives (Miss Plus USofA, Today’s American Woman Pageants, Miss Plus America, Houston Fashion Week/Plus Fashion Show) to singing background and ensemble vocals with Music Recording Artists( Kurt Carr & The Kurt Carr Singers, Donald Lawrence & The Tri-City Singers and Kathy Taylor & Favor) to mentoring a Brooklyn, NY fourteen year old in pursuing her fashion and pageantry dreams in the Miss New York USA Pageant in excellence! A proud HBCU graduate of Prairie View A&M University, a part of the Texas A&M University system, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance with a minor in Fashion Merchandising & Design. She continued her studies at Rice University Susanne M. Glasscock School of Continuing Studies Composition-Music Business/Composition. She also received a Women’s Leadership Certificate as a member of the 2009 Charter Class Inspire Women Leadership Institute at the Dallas Theological Seminary in Houston, Texas. Also, she has done coursework in “Operating in the Anointing” with Benny Hinn School of Ministry.

She is presently promoting her Gospel musical of “Gospel Divas Night Out” with co-stars Carol Johnson (2015 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Nominee The Marvellettes) and “Empress of R&B” Natasha C. Coward (Mama I Want To Sing). She has a beautiful and talented daughter named Gabrielle NaShanti who is an award-winning Toastmaster, Visual & Performing Artist and Filmmaker who is a freshman attending University of Rochester studying Film.
