Roland Tonies

Roland Tonies is a Sacramento-based band exploring the outskirts of music and sanity within the walls of a small garage in a suburban neighborhood. Formed in early 2017, Jackson Levine (Vocals, Keyboard), Tyler Cooper (Rhythm Guitar) and Ethan Pecha (Bass) began writing and recording original music with Frankie Consulo (Vocals, Lead Guitar), Zach Cook (Drums), and Alyssa Abbott (Saxophone). After a tangent of stubbornly difficult releases in '17, they returned with something much more refined, an LP entitled “The Kid”. This release propelled the band into the Sacramento music scene, performing consistently throughout Northern California. In early 2019, songwriting duo Consulo and Levine began writing “Speedboat Massacre”, a delicate and personal tell-tale series of songs based upon fictional character Tommy and his drug smuggling speedboat, which is scheduled to release later this year. Their music, often humorously dubbed “Vape Rock” has grown into something that transcends the young age of the members in the band. Their original content is what defines them as they continue to produce and master their sound.
