Mel Funk

Mel Funk is the drummer/backup vocalist for Jackknife Stiletto, an all-female nationally touring rock band. Career highlights include playing percussion with Chad Smith's (of Red Hot Chili Peppers) Bombastic Meatbats at The Iridium in NYC; playing drums with Mark Mendoza of Twisted Sister; playing drums for The Dollyrots; playing drums for Abisha Uhl of Sick of Sarah; opening for Cherie Currie of The Runaways; opening for Bret Michaels of Poison; playing at SXSW and Warped Tour; and touring throughout the US and Europe with Bowling For Soup, The Bangles, Antigone Rising, Lacey, & Ivory Tribes.
