Moving between continents and finding her home in an international environment, if it’s performing at Burning Man, playing on a regular basis at iconic venues like House of Yes in New York or touring through Europe - her sonic style also moves. Tony y Not’s emphasis on sharp sounds between grooving house beats and dark disco synths speaks for her unique footprint and doesn’t put her in one box. End of 2018 she released her first EP “Imperfection” with the Hamburg label TÄCHNO that is followed a tour hitting the Asian market for the first time.

She started co-producing events for the New York Collective BAE that supports showcasing work by female identifying artists. Being an empowered and focused artist she started making herself a name in the New York electronic music underground scene having played at venues like Output or the infamous ZERO parties. It didn’t take long until this force powered across the pond to Europe.

Being an international DJ and music producer who is based between Brooklyn and Berlin, gives her the opportunity to connect with many collectives and people that influence her art. For her, music must be a communication tool, expressing meaning through art that sometimes can’t be said in words. And these are not the only things that move. The main gain of this passion is to see people move through her music emotionally and physically and moving forward to the future because this is only the start.
