Lost in Kiev

The band that would later be named Lost in Kiev was born in 2007 to create an instrumental post-rock inspired by Red Sparowes, Mogwai and Radiohead. 3 years later the team loses its two guitarists within a few months. Too bad.

So begins a period of integration of their new outstanding guitarists plus a fifth member on keyboards.

If you’re going to reorganize, you might as well do it
properly. A few sessions of observation later, this freshly reconstituted family begins to adjust its old tunes with the newcomers’ influences (Cult of Luna, Amenra ...) and starts playing live opening for some more than interesting bands such as Rosetta, LITE, Maybeshewill and Listener...

Time for stability has come at last. Even destiny which at some point sends some members abroad for a certain amount of time doesn’t manage to break this great dynamic. Felling free, Lost in Kiev decides in 2012 to convert a try to record its first album: Motions.

After a new line-up and more shows in Europe, a new album called "Nuit Noire" released on september 2nd 2017 with Dunk! Records. Produced by Antony Josse and mastered By Magnus Lindberg.
