About Jürgen Joherl
JJ is a German-born freelance bassist & lately now also a composer and producer from Amsterdam (NL).
In the past he had been a semi-pro member/bassist with 2 bands, first from Stuttgart, South-Germany & later from Amsterdam, NL. His most nost notable band involvement so far had been gigging for a while with "The JJC Helder Band", a A'dam based group with a.o. guitarist Joop van Nimwegen (Ex-Q65/Livin' Blues) and drummer Pierre van der Linden (Ex-Brainbox/Focus) of a certain Dutch Rock Music legacy.
From 2003 on he now focuses on composing, arranging & finally also producing mainly own Instrumental Jazz-Funk-Latin-World Beat inspired styles and flavors. It's a kind of "one-man-band" project so far and all music is done by himself in his budget studio at home.
He self-released his (digital) debut album "Heartland" in 2005 and a 4-track EP as preview for his overdue up-following album "Moving On" in 2009...to be continued!
