About Jürgen Joherl
German born Jürgen Joherl (alias JJ) is a long time freelance bassist & lately also composer and producer from Amsterdam (NL).
He had been in the past a semi-pro member/bassist with 2 bands, first from Stuttgart, Germany & later from Amsterdam. Most notable band involvement so far had been gigging for a while with "The JJC Helder Band", a A'dam based group with a.o. guitarist J. van Nimwegen (Ex-Q65/Livin' Blues) and drummer P. van der Linden (Ex-Brainbox/Focus) of a certain Dutch Rock legacy.
Since 2003 he focuses on composing, arranging & finally also producing own Instrumental Jazz-Funk-Latin-World Beat flavors as a kinda "one-man-band" project so far. He self-released his (digital) debut album " Heartland" in 2005, followed by a EP/Album-Preview with 4 tracks for his overdue upfollowing album "Moving On" in 2009...to be continued!
His music is available at various (social) media sites & can be also streamed on major download portals.
