About Robert Bacon

For Robert Bacon it was simple. One day he was moving from his hometown of Butler, Missouri to Illinois and found an Alan Jackson cassette in the car he had purchased just before the move and that was all it took. In that moment, Bacon made the decision that would change the course of his life for good: to become a country music artist.

After that fateful drive from Missouri to Illinois in 1993, Bacon took up acoustic guitar and began to write his own country music songs. He began to perform at a variety of open-mic nights, which helped him become a well-known name in the St. Louis area. To further his talent and gain stage presence, Bacon did some modeling for Sears and JCPenney, appeared in a few television commercials and music videos, and auditioned for a variety of acting roles.

When asked where he hopes to see himself three years from now, Bacon grinned and in his charming western Missouri drawl says, “I hope to be a successful recording artist, putting out good music without a big ego. I hope to tour throughout my life, with my “Aces” by my side, and inspire others to make their dreams come true as my dream continues to become a reality. None of this could happen without the support and talent of my dedicated team, whom I will always take care of.”

Full of energy and drive, Bacon is coming into the country scene with his own brand of music. He sings with an emotional edge that says he knows first-hand what he is singing about. Truthful, heartfelt performances, coupled with consistency and variety in material, create longevity in a collection of songs that share Bacon¹s personal experiences.

In 2018, he will be back in the studio recording some of his previous songs, with a re-release of “Drinkin’ Thinkin’” in the latter part of 2018. He will be releasing a new project in 2019. Look for Robert on the road summer of 2018 kicking off his touring season.
