Luke Johanson

Luke is a singer/songwriter from Watertown Massachusetts. At the age of 18 he moved to Chicago to attend the acting program at The Theater School at DePaul University. He met his wife while living in Los Angeles, and they spent the next year traveling and playing music together. They ended up landing in Texas where he studied the music scene and continuing to write and play at venues throughout. He then returned to New England and immersed himself back into the Irish balladeer culture that originally shaped his love of music.
Luke's personal style is composed of Irish and Americana roots and branches into country/ folk/ as well as some classic rock here and there. His biggest influences include Liam Clancy, Luke Kelly, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Greg Brown, Roger Miller, The Fureys, and Kris Kristofferson.
Now headed back to Texas, Luke intends to continue traveling, playing, writing music, and sharing his experiences with the the world.
