Not My Problem

NOT MY PROBLEM is a 5-piece cover band based out of New Canaan, CT, performing a wide array of danceable rock, pop, disco, punk, and funk. Our setlist covers the 60s through today, and includes songs the audience loves, but doesn’t hear often from cover bands. We are not focused on the music of a particular era, genre, or even a particular band. Whether it’s Carol King and Janis Joplin, Donna Summer and The Bee Gees, Blondie and Talking Heads, No Doubt and Alanis Morisette, Pink and Alice Merton, Maroon 5 and The Killers, or Dua Lipa and Lizzo, we have all the decades covered. And we through in some Stones, Zeppelin, and even Rush to ensure we have something for everyone. Our main goal is to keep people listening, moving, and dancing. Our feedback from the audience after our gigs is always the same: great band, great energy… and that set list is awesome. Fun. Eclectic. Surprising.

Lisa, Kaine who is out front for our band, is a fantastic talent as a singer, and yet equally powerful as a performer, engaging the audience and turning every venue we play in into a gigantic party. Adam Weiss, on drums, has been playing since he was six. John Mullen is our Irish-born guitarist, covering both lead and rhythm. Our bassist, Dan Lanzi, plays anything and everything. Lisa Ratner, on keys, has spent her career in the music industry as a writer, producer, artist, and vocal coach.
