About Lydia Loveless

Lydia Loveless
Pigeonhole Loveless at your peril. Over the course of seven studio albums, the Columbus, Ohio-based singer-songwriter has become known for wry, observant lyrics that don’t sugarcoat the realities of everyday life.
Throughout 2025, Loveless released a song a month on Bandcamp, challenging themself to be prolific and productive. Several of those appear on Accolades, which is signature Loveless: a deeply personal meditation on relationships, the music business and navigating the modern world, conveyed via a mix of dark humor, blunt assessments and the occasional sliver of light.
Musically, the collection again detonates any expectations, encompassing ’90s alternative rock (the Liz Phair-esque “Oklahoma”) and muscular bar-band anthems (the Farfisa organ-augmented “What We Learned”), as well as more stripped-down fare.
The Accolades EP will be released Oct 30, 2026 on Bloodshot Records. Engineered and co-produced by Matt Ross-Spang (Margo Price, Dr. Dog, Jason Isbell)–is now available for preorder at www.lydialoveless.com.

What fans are saying
Amazing to finally see Lydia live. I didn't discover her music until the pandemic 2020. To see her solo & then play with Patterson Hood on bass the same night was special. Highly recommend both artists as they are big inspirations on my own songwriting.

She is a wonderful talent who has never been discovered. Flawless perfect notes singing live and plays lead electric in her own set, acoustic electric in the past, as well as bass tonight when she played with Patterson Hood. Great sense of humor too before her songs. Flawless entertainer and guaranteed good night out enjoying a show.

First gig on the tour. New band sounds great - raw and unvarnished. Good to see Lydia back to her best.
