Quarterback - Music

Ontop of having had played in multiple local B.C. bands, Quinn Bates has had radio play success when he was featured in Kokaholla's single “High With Me”. Starting anew under the stage name Quarterback, his solo project debuted with opening for Daniel Caesar. Since then he has had the opportunity sharing the stage with Youtube Star Haley Blais, Ghost Note, and B.C. Rock legends, Chilliwack.
Backed with his full band, Quarterback can be compared to the likes of Moses Sumney, Erykah Badu, and Fergie all in one performance. In the studio, Quarterback was featured in “Stranger Eyes” alongside Grammy nominated artist Devin Di Dakta, as well “Bittersweet” produced by internationally known DJ Nicky Romero, which has had over two million Spotify streams.
This year, Quarterback plans to release three singles, starting with his first, “Full Circle” mixed by Howie Beck whose credits include Feist, Charlotte Day Wilson and Buffy Sainte- Marie. Come summer 2019, Quarterback will be releasing a self-titled EP. Quarterback promises to bring explosive energy to the stage with a style as memorable as the dirty, sad, and sexy songs he writes.
