Selkii is a Looping-Singer-Guitarist hailing from South Africa’s Beach City, Durban.
Selkiis love for adventure & the ocean come through her narrative & thoughtful lyrics. Some of Selkii's musical influences include Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Nina Simone and Jeff Buckley.

Selkii is a solid guitarist and looping pedal virtuoso. Her live performances are a kaleidoscope of sounds.
Like a modern day one man band, She uses the looping pedal to record and play back all the parts of the song in real time. She layers her own backing vocals, bass parts, effects and percussion along with guitar parts, live - and then ‘jams’ over them with her magical spirit-filled voice. Her favorite color is Turquoise & her enthusiasm & love for life is contagious.
