Hailing from Brooklyn, the band defies easy description: they are rock, power funk, and a dose of soul. They combine soulful grooves with heavy funk, creating songs that sound like Jamiroquai, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, and Sly & The Family Stone. SoulGlo delivers an eclectic sound with a classic feel.
They released their self-titled EP SoulGlo in January 2017, followed by their two singles Catch My Breath and Natural Selection in July 2017. The band regularly performs in the northeast in New York City and abroad.
