BAWAH, a name that carries the weight of culture, and personal transformation. Born in Ghana and raised between the UK and Western Canada, BAWAH exists between many worlds, his spirit anchored by the rich traditions of his birthplace, yet shaped by the ebb and flow of life far from home.

BAWAH's Afro-fusion sound is unmistakably his own. Transcending traditional boundaries and defying categorization with his unique blend of influences, spanning Afro, Pop, Hip-hop, Alternative, and Electronic genres.

In 2025, BAWAH will pour his soul into one monumental project: MAUVEY TO A BAWAH. This project is a symphony of creative expression. A four-part album series, a film series spanning 48 episodes, and a 48-chapter book.

BAWAH’s live performances have electrified audiences around the world, from Glastonbury to SXSW, and beyond. He has shared stages with artists like easy life, July Talk, and Snotty Nose Rez Kids, becoming a force to be reckoned with. Beyond the accolades, BAWAH's art has always been about creating a space for love, and for the stories that need to be told. It is a journey home, a return to the truth of who he is, and an invitation for us all to do the same.
