About Dave Helwig
Dave Helwig’s musical journey has been an electrifying ride, taking him across the vast landscapes of the United States and into the hearts of audiences of all sizes; from quaint intimate venues to stadiums packed with over 60,000 people.
Helwig’s love for music is not just heard but felt by his audience. A testimony to this was when Dave and his band received four standing ovations opening for Robert Cray.
Soon after, Helwig was asked to sing lead vocals for the legendary Ronnie Montrose, including hit songs Rock Candy, Make it Last and Bad Motor Scooter.
While on the Central Coast Dave Helwig performed with Pat Travers masterfully trading guitar licks and earning him an endorsement deal with Baker Guitars. All of which led to appearances in Guitar Player Magazine and performing at the renowned NAMM show.
In the late 90’s Dave released a well received E.P. with Ross Valory of Journey and Prairie Prince of the Tubes. Helwig’s music received substantial airplay and strong reviews.
One thing is for sure, Dave Helwig loves connecting with his audience no matter the size or venue where he is performing, earning him a reputation as an unforgettable artist to experience.
