About De Lilith
Richey Rose & Bex Sheers formed De Lilith in New York City during the summer of 2017.
Originally intended to be an instrumental project, this duo was birthed out of a mutual affinity for dark & emotive sonic landscapes.
Rose has most recently played guitar for Wendy James (Transvision Vamp) alongside Jim Sclavunos (Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds), and toured as support for acts such as Echo & The Bunnymen and the Manic Street Preachers.
Sheers spent much of the mid-2000s curating underground club nights and events in Sydney alongside electronic mainstays like Justice, Cut Copy & Digitalism; whilst carving out a career as a stylist & creative director for print publications, brands & artists.
Their sound is a journey through 80’s analog synths & drum machines, juxtaposed with haunting, textured guitars & vocals that mediate between beauty & angst.
