Arkadia Alpha

Arkadia Alpha is the result of the evolution of the musical path of Lilith – who, at the age of 18, started working at the only Italian radio network playing electronic music at that time. She has years of experience working at different radio stations, but also as a booking and tour manager. These engagements brought her not only to places all-over Europe, but also to North America and Colombia.

Doing this, she refined her musical taste and style and decided to pursue a career in producing and playing music. Lilith prefers hypnotic, magnetic techno that captures you, that engulfs you, but is at the same time is dirty, incisive and industrial. Her playlist doesn't exclude anything, but includes everything that represents her – from ambient to break beat, from hip hop, rock to electro clash and, of course, punk (genres that have constituted her musical background since she was a teenager).

In 2004, she was resident DJ at Brancaleone (Rome). In her Italian past, she also participated in several editions of Arezzo Wave. She played in several clubs of the peninsula and collaborated with the early radio network M2O for a year. But her curiosity and desire for experience made her want to travel. After seeing, knowning and having lived in different parts of the world, Arkadia Alpha has found the city that will not let her leave: Berlin. She realised being in Berlin was what she had long dreamed of, a city in which she had been as a teenager, when it was still divided by the wall; Berlin – the city with its history and subculture movement she had always passionately followed. She still remembers the smell, the record shops, the streets, the people, the apparent quietness and silence, the constant grey that conceals colour and a vitality with emotion and passion that cannot be found in any other place.

Berlin became a fertile and precious field that created a stable, permanent and recognised path for her, day by day. In 2014, she has started to work at Golden Gate, a historic venue dating back to 1990, when it was still a former warehouse of the BVG (the public transport of the German capital). The building was occupied at that time and some kind of a ruin. Starting from there, it has become an infamous after hour club and is known for parties that start on Thursday and end on Monday without a break. A place where many artists started playing that have later become residents in another undisputed colossus: the Berghain.

This is where Arkadia Alpha’s collaboration as a resident DJ and event organizer began with the project KlangEthik. This project fully represents the her way of wanting to make and live music. The only Italian DJ who has entered and conquered a 100% German techno club with her style.

After a couple of years, she has started the renowned Wild at Gate events, while her performances have become unmissable gigs followed enthusiastically by the critical Berlin techno crowd. The audience follows every nuance of her music while she keeps it 'based in Berlin' since 2010. Currently, she is working on her first EP. In her performances, she mixes analogue and digital, experiments with new sounds and equipment. Up to now... Keep in touch and enjoy her music!
