About Takar Nabam
Singer Songwriter, Composer from Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, Takar Nabam. Takar has actively performed in India and has also performed in the neighboring countries of Myanmar, Singapore and Bhutan. He has performed at some of the renowned music festivals on India, including NH7 weekender, Ziro Festival of Music, Orange Festival, amongst others.
Takar writes about his life and things that he strongly feels about. He has released two albums, thus far, namely 'Same Sky' and 'This Home That Home'. The music videos for songs 'Hello' and 'Receding' continue to be aired on VH1 India. Songs like 'Independent Route', 'Melodrama', 'Receding' have made it to some of the Top playlists on Apple music and on Spotify.
Now, with an aim to preserve and contribute to a dialect that is fading away faster than ever, Takar has started singing songs in Nyishi, his native dialect.
Takar has been working on some new singles, both in English and in the Nyishi dialect. Be it solo or with the band, Takar has tailored the arrangements of his songs to soothe and satisfy the ears.
