Absolutely fantastic! He was even better live than recorded, which I didn’t expect, as him albums are already so good. The band was very stong and complemented Gregory’s voice well, but did not fade into the background. This show transported me to another place

This show was great- probably the most serene crowd i've ever seen at a concert. Isakove was at the top of his game and it was enjoyable and he was in great spirits and thankful from the go. just a really great show.

Genuinely the most beautiful show I’ve ever seen. The stage presence was incredible, the entire band is talented beyond belief and I absolutely adored the way the night was broken up into the two sets; one with the band spread out across the stage and the other with them all gathered around one mic. The vocals were perfect, and the harmonies gave me chills. I will definitely be seeing him again!

An actually perfect show. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. The venue was gorgeous, the openers were funny and talented, the crowd was great, and Gregory Alan Isakov was just breathtaking. My mouth was hanging open the whole time.

Not a fan of general admission standing areas however everyone I crossed at MTELUS was fantastic, great service! The Milk Carton Kids were great and Gregory Alan Isakov was absolutely amazing! What a show, what a blast!

Music that rattled your bones and made your heart sore, such a beautiful performance that had all of us straining to hear every pluck of the guitar or piano note played <3 an experience I will forever be grateful for with memories and videos I will always treasure

This was by far the most beautiful show I have ever attended. I mean what a show! Each instrument wasn't like they were being played but as if they were weeping! Gregory & his band know how to put on a show. I will definitely be seeing him again! Just bring some tissues! I love the Midland Theatre it's makes me laugh and smile, I also feel very welcomed and never stressed! 10/10 on EVERYTHING! The crowd was very chill, quite, & probably my favourite venue ever. Simply amazing. I only wish I was a little bit taller because the times that I did have full view... just wow. The chemistry and love and respect for each and every phenomenal talent that was on that stage.. just wow. I was truly moved and loved how Gregory had these special little moments with each person on the stage and how they built each song. Just seriously magic. Beyond the wishing to be about 3 inches taller, the only thing that could have made this show better is if I was closer so I was around people actually engaging and appreciating the just amazing music that was being played for us. (Granted that's my bad for being around or near the bar area, and not working my way forward). Thank you to every single person on the stage at union transfer last night in Philly, truly just magic.

What an amazing show…the band was so tight, the harmonies that they arranged were like a a cozy blanket being tossed on the crowd, breathtaking. Pitch perfect vocals, and a lyric fumble or two to let you know they’re indeed humans. The venue had a huge presence, like the bass player that thumped perfectly on beat. So good.

My favourite singer of all time. He was a joy to listen to, as always, but the show was quite short (five songs or so) and it was part of the "before" of the show, which meant that no one was quiet or sitting down. That doesn't suit his music AT ALL, and so the emotions were lost in the hubub. His stage set up was so flawless to who he is as a performer, and they had beautifully choreographed lights with their songs.

This event was fantastic! It was like church for my soul! Gregory Alan Isakov with his whole ensemble and Joe Purdy are extremely talented, professional, wonderful entertainers and they put on a fantastic show for us! I did give 4 1/2 stars because I believe the Englert Theater needs to train their employees/volunteers that when an opening artist is on stage, it is just as important for lobby/concessions/entryway noise and conversations to cease, as it is when the headliner is on stage. Joe Purdy is a fantastic singer/songwriter and was not given due respect during a significant part of his set. My family loves seeing live music at The Englert and the loud conversations during Joe Purdy’s performance was not what we were used to.

GAI left it all out on the stage in Cheyenne, WY...he seemed to respond to the energy, gratitude, and small town feel for the last show of his tour by sharing story after story with the audience.

Wow. This show was amazing. Mr. Isakov is a fantastic song writer. The music is great, the venue is as close to perfect as can be, and the weather matched the music to create an atmosphere that was absolutely magical. I'm am so happy to have been apart of this experience 😃

I loves these guys and the venue was really cool but I couldn’t help feel like the sound wasn’t all that great. If I remember correctly they started with their mics way up and then they were turned way down. I get it was a taping but the director or whoever jumping up on stage and delaying them was super annoying to me; they had to reshoot their entrance to the stage and then at one point they stood there getting direction for 5 minutes between songs. I’ve seen them so many times and they’re amazing to see preform but this was my least favorite show due to no real fault of the band.

He sounded great! I enjoyed the switch to acoustic instruments as a change of pace. I was fully engaged for maybe 3/4 of the show. Just needs a little more variety in his canon or inventiveness by the instrumentalists to sustain a whole concert.

Enjoyed the acoustical portions of the show very wonderful... However during fully Amplified portions found Sound Engineering poor!! Subtotal base amplification primarily of drums escalating and resonating dwarfing the beauty of all other tones... That was disappointing! I had hoped the sound engineer would have caught on. I love sub if properly balanced. So overwhelming with drums especially, I suspected the Fillmore likely has Thumpers under the floor? This could lighten the load on the audience's ears however if in fact they do the verberation dwarfed the beauty of the music, I only suspect this because of the intense Bass bodily vibration... Bummer!

Amazing beyond belief. His voice was somehow even better in person and his band is phenomenal. It was his birthday and as soon as he came out, we sang him happy birthday; seeing his face light up and flood with red made the night even more special.

Such a beautiful human being; someone whose music has often carried me through the darker valleys of recent years. When he begins the show with my favorite song and plays through most of my other favorites, it was quite clear my cheeks would hurt a bit at end of show from all the smiling. The arrangements were stunning and I do hope it was recorded. Long may you sing for us, Gregory, as my ears shall never tire of it.

Absolutely amazing. He was such a sweetheart when he met his fans, and he was very funny up on stage, telling stories and making jokes in between playing his amazing music. While his opener was on stage, you could see his silhouette right off of the stage, listening and watching and clapping for the opener during his entire performance, which I found very respectful.

A friend introduced me to this guy and I'm SO glad he did! He's like the perfect folksy blend of Andrew Bird & Avett Brothers. The venue is tiny- but it wasn't sold out so it was great/intimate! Standing room only. Attached to a cool looking bar/restaurant/rooftop terrace. Definitely would go again!
