About A/B the Band
A/B is a four-piece ‘diet-indie-punk’ band from Brooklyn, NY consisting of Gaby Akcelik, Gaby Baez, Joshua Allen and Andrew Ramos. Drawing influence from artists such as Arctic Monkeys, St. Vincent, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Paramore, A/B brings a nostalgic, yet modern flair to the current indie/alt scene in Brooklyn. In March of 2017, A/B was birthed by Gaby Akcelik and Gaby Baez. In late-October of the same year, multi-instrumentalist Joshua Allen joined in on drums. Finally, lead guitarist Andrew Ramos completed the A/B lineup in early 2018. A/B plans to release their debut EP 'Gemini' in the spring of 2018.
