The Rubens

The Rubens never disappoint. Fourth time seeing them live and they only get better. They are so good live. And they come to regional towns which is amazing. Still one of my favourite bands 13 years on.

the show was great. we enjoyed the support act and were warmed up for the Rubens. They did a great balance of new and old songs. their performance was punchy and fun. I love the Northcote Theatre as a venue, good size, good acoustics and good location.

It was a cozy venue at UC Refectory. Perfect crowd and amount of space to vibe. I'm short so I wished the stage was higher. And we could hear the music clearly from standing at the back but the vocal mic could be more crisp; not sure what the venue needs in terms of AV equipment / settings to make this happen. Overall, I would go again. The Rubens were great and I enjoy their latest album. Their opening acts were fun too and I'm checking out their music.

Such a wonderful show, all the fun of past and new works. Great night and can’t wait for the next one!

What at a great show! Definately value for money but would have liked to hear the rubens for maybe another half an hr. Great venue and the lead up acts did a good job

Amazing show. Well worth the ticket and I would love to see them again. A good mixture of old and new songs in my opinion. Fantastic energy the whole night.

We went to Lorne specifically to see the Rubens play at te pub. Went to dinner and made our way up to the rooftop. Band came on at 8pm and what a ripper show. The energy and quality of the performanace was on point. My partner and I were on of the oldest there ( nudging 60!!), but we had a great time. The energy was palpable and was just great fun. Thank you Lorne Hotel and The Rubens for an amazing night. Always support live music. Musicians work so hard and deserve our support.

An amazing gig! Chili venue, great sound, the Ruben’s were great live and loved their new songs and their supporting act DNR were so good as well. Such good music!! Yiew.

Tight unit. Played the hits, played 2 new as yet unreleased songs- both will deservedly get good rotation on radio I predict, the 2nd one particularly -Sam said they loved that one- after the song it was easy to know why!! Whole room bouncing. Great energy. 1st time we’ve seen them. Want to see them again.

Great show, performed a good variety of songs and even an unreleased single to tease. really liked their support band Wet Denim for NZ too.

Love the Rubens! Seen them a couple of times and once again they were supreme! It was so great to see such an awesome live band in such a small ‘regional’ location. Can’t wait til the next tour!

This was my second time seeing these legend, the first was at Vanfest a few years back and gahhhhhhhh...they never fail to impress!! These guys are amazing live!🤙🏼

They are a terrific live band. Great musicianship with lots of soul. Sam's vocals were on point. Their sound guy does a great job too. Thanks for coming back to LA!
