Another amazing night of quality Musicianship & Music in a fantastic venue. My first time at the Lichfield Guildhall for IOTA and superbly run by the Lichfield Arts Group. Sally, Marion & Anna were on fine form and delivered 2 superb sets of their wide and varied compositions to an engaging audience. The humour they deliver in between each performance breaks the seriousness of some of their material, but also adds to others with a funny element to them. A Favourite such as Carol & Beryl showcase their talent in writing material with a narrative as well as a chorus. Sally Barker showed how you take a classic pop song and turn it into an amazing ballad with her superb vocal rendition of the Tom Jones song 'It's Not Unusual'. Violin from Marion Fleetwood and Keyboard from Anna Ryder make this a must listen to track. If you haven't seen IOTA yet, then I urge you to see them 'Live' at any of their forthcoming gigs...you will be entertained and you will not be disappointed..!!!
