Where Thieves Dare

It's been a little over three years now. Johnny Friedman and Drew Cupples started down a road with no goal in mind, except to write music they could enjoy listening to. And now, Where Thieves Dare is the embodiment of that journey. Where Thieves Dare is a rock band from Memphis, TN that started as nothing more than a hobby and a passion for music. After a few demos, and no expectations, they took it a step further. Things got started when Drew invited his friend, Matt Herbert, out to try singing. Well, he kept showing up, and still does to this day. Nobody told him that he was "the" vocalist... he just assumed he was. Jeff Goodwin (bass) begged to be in the band... so they let him... and he turned out to be pretty good! Braden Friedman, who is Johnny's son and was only 15 at the time, was a sit in until a better, more permanent option was found. They quickly realized he had what it took... so Johnny forced him to come at risk of being grounded from playing Xbox. And both Braden and Jeff filled it out and really helped things take shape. Fast forward to the present... Where Thieves Dare will be releasing their first "official" EP titled "Where We Fell" in May of 2019. They've kept busy playing some of the local spots and sticking to what they had fun doing in the first place... writing and recording some good music!
