DROPSHOT is a pure American hard rock band formed in Tampa, Fl in 2013 by singer frontman, Jason Taylor. Since the sold out debut show at Club Detroit in St.Petersburg, FL, Dropshot has toured all over the East Coast opening for major rocks acts like Drowning Pool, Filter, & Powerman 5000.
Fast foward 7 years to today and you will find a exciting newDROPSHOT lineup that includes Father and Son duo, JTaylor and Jayson Erik, dueling guitars and massive vocal harmonies backed by powerhouse rythym section, Alvaro Quintero on bass and Kei Alexander on Drums.
“The most amazing element of this badass lineup is that we all have history together. Al and myself have been friends for almost 15 years from Miami. Kei and I were in the band Sugar Phix together almost 10 years ago and of course I’ve known Jazz his whole life. It’s crazy to think that a band could have a REBIRTH from OLD relationships.”
