ANSHELM

Anshelm is an American Black Metal band, formed in 2014. Hailing from Southern California, the group was founded by Pyralis who plays guitar and Xul (Aylwin, SONA) who plays drums. In late 2016 the group was joined by Hattner (Ether Binge) and performed live. Shortly after Hattner's departure, Nerazim (NAVTILVS, Dowager, SIXES) filled in on rhythm guitar. The trio recorded two tracks and Pyralis took over on vocal duty. The songs were later released in September 2017 as a promo entitled, BLACK FANG MEDICINE. Following the release, Nerazim parted ways with the group. Lord Ogün (SWARTWOUD, XALTU) was then added on bass guitar, along with Iblis (Ninth Plague, Taipan, 5150) on lead guitar. The group released their debut album THROUGH THE BURNING GLASS on Wishful Think Art and Recordings & Fucking Die Records. Anselm currently performs with drummer Krock (DEMON'S GUILLOTINE & SINFUL) and bass players Perseus (RAREFROM) & Phantom (ANIMALKING)
