UK born and Australian bred Benibee arrives to each set armed with an impressive arsenal of talents as a DJ, artist, performer, remixer and producer. His solid background in music forms imposing foundations of a multifaceted performer. Behind the decks, the Benibee signature sound is beautifully arranged with shades of big room, progressive and electro house music. His musicianship was first established in childhood where he studied trumpet on a scholarship. With such an ingrained sense of music upheld by an education in music theory and performance, it’s no wonder he has the timing of a metronome and the energetic presence of a brass band. Benibee stands out as a leading electronic improviser. His creative skills behind the decks and in the studio are steadied by energetic performances across a big room system. And in a touching symmetry, Benibee transpires as a leading producer and DJ for the nu generation. The vision and focus in his music is beautifully balanced with his remarkable talent in improvisation and resourcefulness. Benny has landed himself in the inthemix Top 50 awards four years in a row from 2010-2013, achieving the high placement of #12 in Australia. His busy touring resume includes all the major festivals on the Australian circuit including Parklife, Summafieldayze, Future Music, Stereosonic & Creamfields for the past five years in a row as well as headline gigs at some of the biggest clubs all over Australia including Family Nightclub Brisbane, Platinum Gold Coast, Billboards Melbourne & Marquee Sydney. International appearances include Thailand on multiple occasions as well as parts of Europe which included world renowned party islands Ibiza & Magaluf. High in demand, Benibee is frequently requested to perform the task of playing the perfect warm up set for some of the worlds biggest DJs coming through Australia. Benibee’s latest tracks ‘Pick it up’ & ‘Rush’ were released through Australian major label, Central Station Records & each track spent over a month in the ARIA club charts with ‘Pick It Up’ reaching #28 in the country.
