About Jacob Lutz
Growing up in Clayton, North Carolina, Jacob Lutz was born into a family that had a deep appreciation for performing music. A fan of diverse acts like John Mayer, Gavin DeGraw, Garth Brooks and Zac Brown Band, Jacob began to bridge genres to forge a sound that is uniquely his own.
Jacob started his music journey by playing drums, keys and guitar in his family’s church and quickly discovered his passion for music. He played his first live gig at a grand opening for a McDonalds for the high price of a Big Mac. After this small taste of performing, Lutz realized it was time to make the move to Nashville, Tennessee in 2019.
Within his first 30 days of being in Nashville, Jacob signed a publishing deal with 50 Egg Music founded by Luke Combs, Jonathan Singleton, and Tali Canterbury.
Since signing, Jacob has immersed himself in the world of songwriting. “There’s nothing else on the planet that brings people together the way music does. It doesn’t matter what your background is, everyone knows the feeling of love and heartbreak.”
Jacob released his debut single, “Lonely Heart” in late 2020 followed by “Same Love”, both to great reviews. He is looking forward to touring in the latter part of 2021. “I still remember my first sold out Whiskey Jam parking lot party...the energy of singing to that crowd was unreal and truly a memory I’ll cherish forever”.
