The Ritual

The Ritual is an heavy melodic core band, they was born in 2002 by the dream and the minds of Marco Obice and Luca De Vito. Inseparable from birth, they was only 12 when decided to create the band. One thought invaded their minds: to play. They started as a heavy/thrash project, until 2008/2009 many line up changes, but when Marco Pastorino (already in Secret Sphere and Timesword) and Luca G. Negro joined the band the dream became reality. Following a change of musical perspectives they decided to revisit the metal/core genre into the heavy melodic core (renamed so that they): the new music is violent, aggressive, but always focused on the metal/core field: melody to serve the song. After the first demo, recorded in 2008, in 2010 they recorded the very first album at the Authoma Studios, property of Federico Pennazzato (Secret Sphere, Odd Dimension, Metal Gang, Sadist). This work engages the minds and spirit of the boys for over six months, and the result is excellent and expresses their very musical vision.
