"My parents got me an electric toy piano when I was 4 or 5. When I was 8, I went to music school for the real thing. After a couple of years, I wanted to quit, but my parents encouraged me to keep going. When I was 13, my cousin taught me how to play the guitar; even though she quit pursuing it, I continued. After my seventh year of music school, I wrote my first piano song. Today, I have a journal filled with songs that I have written and attempted to record (using a cheap microphone; that are still on my computer). Because of my stage fright, writing and recording music was just a hobby. I never liked the attention, being surrounded by people, but since I came to Christ, I realized that God put this gift in my heart for a reason. I believe He gave me this talent so that I could glorify Him through music and inspire others to do the same."
