Always great music when AJ Lee and Blue Summit come to town. Very talented and interactive with the crowd. Portland House of Music is small venue that attracts some "big" entertainment.

AJ Lee & Blue Summit proves once again they are THE hot ticket in Blue Grass.
Love listening to them live or recorded and look forward to my next opportunity to catch them again in or near in Oklahoma or North Carolina!!

The band was the headliner at Nightfall, not Community Pie (a nearby business), which was confusing when attempting to get tickets. AJ Lee and the band played for 90 minutes, featuring many songs from their new album and performed some new material! Really enjoyed the show!!

Haunting & crisp Bluegrass concert. It was AmAzing. Was happy to make a contribution as they passed the “basket.” Would readily pay to see AJ Lee & Blue Summit perform. What a talented group of seasoned Musicians & Artists. The weather was perfect too!!

Outstanding!!! AJ has one of the best voices of all time. Scott & Sully aren't bad either. The band performed non-stop for almost two hours. A great selection of music with virtually no wasted time between songs. We got there early and had front row viewing. The venue is great, with close parking and their performance was free. There was a big appreciative crowd, but it was not crowded. Never thought I'd see AJ & Blue Summit in Sheboygan, but hope they return soon. Also, I was able to purchase all their CDs. Truly a great experience.
An old Bluegrass fan.

Everything about the event was outstanding. The venue was perfect - - easy to get to, great food and drink service, and a beautiful setting.
And, of course, AJ Lee and Blue Summit did not disappoint! I saw them for the first time at the Hideout in Chicago a few months ago and I thoroughly enjoyed some of the finest bluegrass music anywhere, once again, in Rockford, IL.
I highly recommend their show (and have been to friends and family across the country, including Telluride and Tucson).

First time seeing AJ & BS. We love these kids and have been following AJ on the tube since she was a little thing, singing with Mr. Tuttle and his family band. She has assembled for herself a wonderful, tight, exciting group of bandmates who excel in their instrumentation and singing. The audience was an even mixture from boomers to gen-z, so that should tell you something about AJ and Blue Summit's appeal. The set list was a bit shorter than we were expecting, but it was a small venue, the tickets were cheap, they took the stage late and have been under a heavy touring schedule, so that might have explained it. Still, we have nothing but praise for this young lady, her band and look forward to seeing them again sometime soon.

The new bluegrass was on full display, AJ Lee and her talented fellow musicians (Blue Summit) played a perfect mix of old songs and a few new ones from their upcoming album. The crowd was totally immersed in their high energy performance. I attended the Wednesday night show in Cambridge and the Portland show far exceeded my expectations and the fiddle player felt the same and he let the crowd know it at the end of the night. I'm excited for the new album having heard three of the songs and they're superb. I believe they are ready for the next level of success. If you get a chance go see them live, make the effort I guarantee you will be rewarded with perfection!

They are great. I would have liked the show to have gone longer with perhaps an intermission. My preference is some of A.J. Lee's previous songs where her voice stands out over the abundance of bluegrass. But the bluegrass is also excellent.

Loved hearing AJ Lee and Blue Summit's concert at Cashab in San Diego. Their music was delightful and inspiring for the audience. So much talent the band has. Only wish their performance had been longer.

Aj has the voice of an angel , along with the other members who are excellent singers . All of the band are some of the best musicians you'll find anywhere. Friendly and down to earth if you get a chance go see them you wont be disappointed.

Small venue with opportunity to meet and chat with the band members. AJ Lee needs more exposure on the East Coast! Her voice is amazing. They played for nearly 2 hours without a break because there was no opening act... Never missing a beat.

The band was fantastic and seemed to really enjoy themselves. AJ Lee is a goddess! The venue was fairly small (150 -200) - perfect to see these outstanding musicians up close.

My wife, Claudia, and I drove only an hour north to Putney, Vermont, Saturday, Nov 5, from Springfield, MA to see, live, AJ and her fantastically talented Bluegrass/Folk band, "Blue Summit" perform. This California-based group of young, brilliant, passionate musicians brought the house to their feet with thunderous applause and a wonderful encore. The venue, the revered "Next Stage", was intimate, lovely and comfortable. Arriving early in Putney, we met all 5 artists, and we parked conveniently at the venue front door, had a great meal at the general store across the street, and when AJ walked by she posed for photos with us, AND, the weather was perfect ... as was the band's stellar performance!! Without a doubt, this group has the youth, stamina, incredible talents, love and passions to become the greatest success on a national and international level. In an arena filled with competitive talents, AJ, with the voice of an angel,
and Blue Summit's wonderful instrumentals, this band is destined for musical entertainment's most shining greatness. They bring joy and happiness to the world and their audiences simply adore them. ❤🎶

This was one of the most amazing shows I’ve ever seen! All of the musicians are masters of their instruments: beautiful and charming AJ Lee on mandolin, Jan Purat on fiddle, Chad Bowen on stand up bass, Sully Tuttle on lightening fast guitar picking, and Scott Gates on also lightening fast picking and the most clear as spring waster yodeling you will ever hear! The vocals are so well woven, the songwriting is always pleasing and often rousing! This show was so high energy! People were dancing, swinging anybody in sight, a fast moving conga line even formed! The ambiance, food, beer, lighting and sound were all superb! I am so fortunate to have been there, and only wish that everyone I know and love could have been there too! A very special evening!

The show was fantastic! Been wanting to see them for quite some time. My favorite band. Venue needs to work on their acoustics, but AJ and the gang were all I hoped for.

They were awesome! Very tight. Very musical. Extraordinary technical skill....but most of all they were right from the heart....honest, authentic, so that everything that they played, whether a cover or original, rang true and was played like they meant every note. Hard to believe that they did not draw a larger crowd given the extraordinary quality of their talent. I was happy to drive down from NYC for the chance to see them live.I guess in this silly world that they need a hit song before they get the kinds of crowds and attention that their playing and singing and greatness deserves!

Fantastic! Every single band member is versatile, talented, and about the best you’ll ever see/hear! Every tune is unique, and if it is one of the few covers, it is presented in a whole new light. AJ’s voice is warm and yet dynamic. Jan Purat’s fiddle is transcendent, Chad Bowen is a master on the bass, and can give it such depth of feeling. When the bass comes in, it’s magic! Sully Tuttle, what can be said about him, except that he is sublime! His fingers are art! So quicksilver agile. Now, to top it all off, they’ve added Scott Gates, a demon on guitar and mando, with a voice and personality to knock your socks off! The combination is just exquisitely captivating! One of the best shows you can ever hope to take in.

The show was excellent! Musicianship outstanding. The crowd emphatically applauded numerous times after leads. I don’t understand why Blue Summit isn’t more well-known - I’m doing my part to recruit friends to their shows!
