Paulet Pj Howard

“Honesty plus Integrity divided by faith equals Success;” this is the motivational vibration that Paulet "PJ" Howard lives and breathes. Pj was born and raised in Chicago Illinois, and has been drumming since the tender age of four. He has been the drummer and background vocalist for several bands and musical situations, from church worship bands to main stage rock bands, encompassing a broad range of musical styles. PJ is a theoretically trained musician with formal instruction dating back to 1995; his solid foundation in theory and composition make him a well-rounded and multi-faceted musician for any musical venture. PJ currently records and tours with several bands and artists. Not only is PJ the drummer for his performance opportunities, but he also contributes auxiliary/background vocals and collaborates in the area of musical arrangement and composition. His extensive studio recording experience is also accented with his engineering capabilities. He also volunteers his time and talents for several non-profit organizations and youth groups in the Chicago land area. PJ’s musical and character influences include Steven Jordan, Benny Greb, Calvin Rogers, Lester Estelle, Jr. and Ernie Adams. He also draws inspiration from acts such as Paramore, Common, Jayson Aldean, and Casting Crowns. PJ has shared a variety of stages with such performers as Manafest, Switchfoot, Skillit, The David Crowder Band, The Devil Wears Prada, and Toby Mac. He is fluent in many rhythmic languages and takes extreme pride in his versatility. PJ strives to positively influence others with his humble attributes of being a team player and exemplifying the dedication and workmanship of a true professional. His goal is to become a signed musician, composer, producer, and music director. This mentality of preparedness and adaptation, coupled with his shining individuality, make PJ an indispensable asset.
