Brilliant show! Fans joined in with the light show and good to see Steve Earle still kickin' a*s!

It was so beautiful. Mike Scott brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for your art and all of your hard work. You touch the hearts of many people.

Totally fantastic, a great performance as always from Mike Scott and it worked well with Steve Earle as guest artist, so nice to see the energetic Steve Wickham thrive on stage!

The live version of This is the Sea wrecked me. It was more beautiful and moving than I could have ever imagined. Another magical experience at the lovely Fillmore.

Great concert, wonderful classics and an interesting set to sing the songs dedícated to Dennis Hopper, with the help of a very nice interpreter (Who happens to be a fantastic singer too). A Night to Remember !

There is a deep sense of friendship within the band, that pours out like a force of nature. Thanks you guys.!!

Geweldig concert van bijna 2,5 uur. Alle hits kwamen voorbij, maar ook een aantal nummers van de nieuwe cd; life, death and Dennis Hopper. Prachtig met mooie filmbeelden. Op het eind nog een extra toegift: Purple Rain.

Thank you Waterboys for an incredible night at the Belly Up. You came out with a roar for your opening song and took us on a 2 hour of magical music tour riding the tides of your amazing talents. Everyone in the crowd knew that they were being treated to a special night of live music in the intimate, legendary setting of the Belly Up. Watching you all thoroughly enjoy each other's skills and creativity was truly a gift for all of us who were there. So, thank you for making Saturday night at the Belly Up one that we will always treasure and for keeping us out past midnight.

Mike Scott and the boys played a full tilt R&R show at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach. Every hit The Waterboys has was played with a lot of “stretching out” by the band, especially the keyboardists. This band should be on everyone’s MUST SEE list.

Great venue to see a classic 80s act. Openee was a solid indie folk artist. Waterboys played a solid 2 hour show with one encore. Played most of This Is The Sea, the classic mid 80s album Mike Scott is mostly known for. His voice is still solid.

Never fails to disappoint. Top of their game! Such a rich catalogue of music they have so many shows they could put together to capture a snapshot of the world around us. Must see event.

Beautiful Waterboys Concert in Peccioli What a beautiful Waterboys concert it was in Peccioli, that magical Tuscan village! The Roman amphitheater of Fonte Mazzola provided a stunning backdrop, along with the surrounding landscape and Peccioli's famous giant, for a really powerful, high-energy rock show with a tight rhythm. The band was in great shape, with Brother Paul and Famous James absolutely tearing it up on keyboards and piano. Aongus and Eamon confirmed their prowess in the rhythm section, and Mike was a sure thing, as always! The show drew from the band's hits, all revisited in a very rock and energetic style. They played everything from "This is the Sea" to "Be My Enemy," passing through "A Girl Called Johnny" and "The Pan Within," right up to the unmissable "Fisherman's Blues" and "The Whole of the Moon." The Dylan cover, "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," was excellent, and the classic Prince track, "Purple Rain," closed out a truly thrilling show. Once again... "I've seen the Big Music and I'll never be the same."

Great show and Barny Fletcher nearly stole it at the end. Nearly, but not quite. 5 stars for all concerned.

The Waterboys have been touring extensively for months but the verve and enthusiasm they have is amazing. I was disappointed that Steve Wickham was not present but it was still an absolutely fantastic gig. Keep going as long as you can Mike would love to see you and The Waterboys again.

A lot of fun, rock'n'roll spirit. Brother Paul was an amazing surprise, on that Hammond. I was only a little disappointed that "This is the sea" was turned from its original epic feel to a sort of tame ballad. Overall, a great show, for sure.

A great night from start to finish. The band sounded great and looked to be enjoying themselves as much as the crowd. The band stand is a fantastic concert venue.

One HELL OF A SHOW! Above and beyond my highest expectations. A pity the room wasn’t sold out; there’s no accounting for taste I guess. If ever you get the opportunity to catch The Waterboys doing their thing, do NOT pass it up. Given the meagre size of the crowd many an artist would have just mailed it in and been done with it. After having seen Michael Scott and his superb band for the first time , I’ve come to the conclusion that mailing it in isn’t Michael Scott’s DNA. My sincere thanks to The Waterboys for a most memorable, evening of audio entertainment. (Some pretty slick duds too gents!)

Uplifting and incredible musicianship, one of the best gigs I’ve ever seen. Fan since the 80’s and first time seen live.
