Gabe Aronson

Gabe Aronson was born in Los Angeles, CA. His parents were largely to thank for Gabe’s musical interest as his mom would play classical piano and his dad would play drums, electric and acoustic guitar. Gabe was raised loving music from the 20th century, heavily in rock n roll from that era. From the age of 5-18, Gabe studied classical piano and formed several rock bands that played all over LA. After being denied by a few music colleges, Gabe decided to put music off and join the workforce as a freight and logistics salesman. After about a year and one punk band later, Gabe received an offer to play Jerry Lee Lewis for the Las Vegas production of Million Dollar Quartet, a rock n roll musical that had been on Broadway. There, he learned how to play rockabilly piano. His hands often looked like they went to shake a meat grinder, as Jerry Lee’s style would demand Gabe to slide his hand up and down the piano at a high velocity. But after three years from working on cruise ships and several regional theaters, he became an absolute pro. To this day, he incorporates his love for the rock and pop music he grew up with in his music, while tastefully bringing in the ability to shred on the piano as his mentor Jerry Lee Lewis did. Gabe is a rocker, but he blends it into new sounds of modern pop. Physically, Gabe bends backwards, fans out his knees looking as if his ankles are going to break, takes a leap of faith 8 times a week off of the piano and has taken more ice baths then he’d wish to recall. But he loves to perform and throws every fiber of his being into his performance as if it were his last.
