About Fidelio

Born from a desire to break every rule - to do away with standard song structures, recording methods, genre tropes, and formats - Fidelio is an experiment in the old ways of doing things, when songs were crafted differently, recorded differently, and guitar dominated the radio waves. Hailed by The Free Times as "the next generation of young rockers in Columbia to reclaim the glory of rock and roll", the founding members of Jurassic Heat return to the stage in Fidelio. Drawing on their South Carolina roots and insatiable wanderlust, Zach and Amelia resurrect the ancient blues traditions and rock and roll circa the British invasion. Together, they infuse their musical lineage with an occult and psychedelic wizardry, purchased at the crossroads. Their new album, "All My Friends Are Enemies Now," is a story of goodbyes, both bitter and sweet, told through distorted guitars, arcane blues, and spectral choirs. This record bids farewell to youth, old friends and enemies alike. The album is now available on Bandcamp, and will be available on iTunes and streaming services later this month. Ancient blues from the psychedelic crossroads.
