About The Brown Stripes
Jimmy and Muddy got together in mid-2005 as a curl-off from tongue-in-cheek covers band Tortishead. We adopted our now customary fancy dress at Hallowe'en 2005 and we have dressed up for every gig since. We have played in Cornwall, Lake District, Pembrokeshire as well as a festival near Granada, Spain for Stick It On in 2008....
