Helena's music-odyssey commenced in the 90s & 00s, nurturing her love for music with the likes of Incognito, The Brand New Heavies & Joss Stone. At the age of twelve, May encountered Jamiroquai's "A Funk Odyssey” igniting further, her passion for Soul & Funk music.

Helena May unveiled her debut-studio album, "Funkalicious" with Sheep Hill Records in 2021 - a collaborative effort with 19 Austrian & British music-makers. By weaving personal experiences​ & empowering themes​ of courage​ & individuality​, May strives for a relatable connection with every release & live show​.
