Batfarm

The debut album from Batfarm (the collaborative music project of recording artists, Alexx Calise and Dennis Morehouse) will be released to all major online music media outlets in the next 1 to 2 months. Called No Vampires in Gilroy, the album was written and recorded over a period of 3 years, in between Calise and Morehouse's rigorous touring/recording schedules. Formed over 3 years ago by Calise and Morehouse, who had worked together on the song, "In My Pocket" for an independent film of the same name, Batfarm incorporates elaborate choral harmonies with dysphoric distortion, ominous soundscapes and deeply introspective lyrics reminiscent of rock 'n' roll stalwarts Pink Floyd, Electric Light Orchestra, Portishead, and The Cure. NVIG is a concept album deeply rooted in existentialism, and chronicles the demise of the human spirit. Collectively, Calise and Morehouse's independent works have been featured on Lifetime, VH1, MTV, CW and in numerous major feature films. Batfarm incorporates elaborate choral harmonies with dysphoric distortion, ominous soundscapes and deeply introspective lyrics.
