Echoes, the American Pink Floyd

Echoes is heading back out on the road to appear and perform at venues and theaters to Pink Floyd fans all along the East coast. The members and support staff of Echoes are thrilled to be doing what they do best - perform and reproduce the music they love - Pink Floyd.

Dan Long - Keyboards, Sound Effects and Vocals

Dan began playing Hammond organ at age 7, was an award winning jazz piano player in his teens, and began playing professionally at the age of 18. Since that time he has been a member of many local and regional bands, along with several original music ventures. Since the late 80’s he’s been performing with jam band Montana Wildaxe, one of the most popular and longest running bands on the Delaware scene. In 2007 he became the band leader and keyboardist with dance/variety band Best Kept Secret, and also performs regularly with blues artist Wayne Dean. Dan is frequently hired as a studio session musician, and is often called upon by touring bands that need performers for local appearances.

With roots in jazz, improvisation and blues, along with years of playing many genres of music, Echoes allows Dan to draw upon every aspect of his experience to enjoy one of the finest roles a keyboard player can have, that of playing the music of Pink Floyd.

William (Bill) Swezey - Guitar and Vocals

Bill has been playing guitar since his parents got him a Sears acoustic guitar for Christmas at the age of seven. He has been performing live since age 14 in rock, southern rock, wedding and show bands and as a member of various pit orchestra’s for live theatre companies playing guitar, bass and mandolin in shows such as "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Jesus Christ Superstar", "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and "Evil Dead". Bill has played with several industry notables including Bill Diluigi, Sierra Kameron and John Kay of Bill Haley and the Comets. Bill also ran a commercial recording studio in Wilmington Apollo Studios recording most of the major punk acts in Delaware several years ago.
